5 Stars? Absolutely. When looking for any particular type of business and/or establishment, I pay close attention to ratings and take the comments/reviews into consideration...and I’ve never written a public comment before, until now. Here are my two-cents:
The office atmosphere is inviting, professional and very friendly. Dr. Johnson has been our (husband and children) dentist for many years. Crowns, fillings, cosmetic dentistry, preventative care (of course) and Dr. Johnson has taken such great care of our smiles. Thankfully, I haven’t had many experiences with drilling but when I had to have some work done, Dr. Johnson took the time to be certain I was numb. I was pretty scared at even the thought of feeling pain but he definitely made me feel more at ease, explaining everything and was reassuring. He made sure I didn’t feel any discomfort~ totally numb! Perfect. The numbing process? Didn’t feel that either! The results? I couldn’t be more satisfied. Pain free, relaxed experience (every time) and bonus... it feels really good when I get compliments on my teeth and smile!
We live in the far NW Valley and this office is pretty far for us, but I’m pretty selective. Dr. Johnson is kind, very gentle, thorough, calm, makes me feel at ease and he is incredibly skilled at what he does. Our children have absolutely zero apprehension to go to him. I/we trust him and wouldn’t consider going elsewhere. I definitely recommend!read more

Shanna and office staff are friendly and efficient. They're on top of everything and make you feel comfortable while you wait for your appointment. Both my wife and I had crown work done and I had implants done. The staff are outstanding efficient, friendly and thorough. Love everything about this place. They have always made me feel they truly care about what's best for me and don't come across as pushy or all about the bottom dollar. Everyone is in a good mood, happy, laughing, you can clearly tell they love what they do! I am one of those cases that can barley tollerate sitting in a dentist chair. I have an anxiety condition that is easily triggered by dentist visits. Well, I have finally found my home with Progressive Dentistry! Not once have i had a panic attack at the office and I just got my crown done from a rootcanal I had recently with such ease. Great staff. They do a really good job with not taking short cuts when cleaning your teeth. They invest in new dental equipment and also have a TV in the ceiling so you can watch TV during your cleaning (great idea) Highly recommend.read more

I brought our 5 year old daughter in to have cavities filled. Dr. Johnson and Stephanie took excellent care of my daughter. She felt comfortable and actually looked forward to each visit. Not only did we receive excellent service but they were the best price (we do not have insurance and had to pay cash). And I can't forget to mention that the ladies at the front desk are very sweet! Have been going to Progressive Dentistry since my dentist retired in 2007. I can say I am truely happy with their expertise and up to date processes. Very friendly staff. My hygentist Lorie is by far the best hygentist I have been to! She is very knowledgable and works with you to get the best outcome. The receptionists are always welcoming, the Dental Hygienists are super personable ... and Dr. Jared Pope is one of the more engaging men I have ever met in this profession. He always takes time to explain what he is doing as he is doing it, and never makes you feel just like you're a "number". I was referred to them from my sons friends mother because I was having a hard time with financing due to the high costs of another dentist that I had went to. I've been seeing Dr. Pope for years now and I can't recommend this office enough. I have anxiety about going to the dentist and the staff here is always very friendly and comforting. Dr. Pope explains how and why a treatment works before performing any work. I've had no issues or pain with any fillings I've gotten here. One time a temporary filling did fall out (my fault for flossing too early) and when I called, they made room for me the same day to get it replaced. They are focused on maintenance and prevention and the longer I've been going to this office, the less drilling I've had to have. My husband has seen Dr. Johnson and had nothing but good things to say. I highly recommend this office! read more

I had three cracks in my lower right back tooth and Dr. Johnson was able to identify and cap the tooth for me. it had been bothering me for about a month and in one visit the issue was fixed!! 🙂 I do need to return when my permanent cap comes in but no pain at all since the initial visit. The best part...........NO ROOT CANAL!!!!! 😀

I'm not into reviews or social stuff online. But every once in a while it's worth the effort to step up and speak your mind. I'm from San Diego and in my option, people are different there. I have found that it's standard procedure for a business to say anything needed to get your money. True or not!
